Runco CL-710 DLP Replaces Sony

June 2003

INTRODUCTION

June, 2003 saw the delivery of my RUNCO CL-710 DLP front projector. It replaced my Sony VW10HT LCD front projector, which had served me well for over three years. Most importantly, I won a Runco DLP projector on the 2002 HT cruise and was given the option to wait until the GEN3 HD-2 (Mustang) DLP chip was unveiled. This decision was a no-brainer. In other words, with apologies to Bob Barker, the price was right!

Now that the projector has arrived and is installed I'm ready to provide some observations regarding its installation, performance and a few other things. First, the INSTALLATION (click to continue).
